Watch: Inside Roku’s 2022 NewFront

Earlier this month we held our first in-person NewFront event at the Chelsea Factory in New York City, where marketers and advertisers saw first-hand how Roku is building a better TV experience for everyone.

1. We welcomed a live, in-person NYC audience. 

In the video below, Roku's Alison Levin, VP, Global Ad Revenue and Marketing Solutions welcomed marketers to the Chelsea Factory in NYC and explained the significance of this year’s streaming-first upfront.

2. We shared the future of The Roku Channel and what marketers must know about Roku Originals.  

Roku’s VP of Programming, Rob Holmes brought the audience up to speed on The Roku Channel, including why we created it in the first place, and the growth we've seen in just the past year. We also shared more about who The Roku Channel viewer is, and what the audience means for marketers.

3. We unveiled 12 original short films tailor-made for TV streaming.  

In partnership with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, The Roku Brand Studio introduced 12 short-form films in four genres – Drama, comedy, documentary, and animation. Below, Chris Bruss, Head of Roku Brand Studio, talks about how brands can build a better TV storytelling experience with Roku Brand Studio:


4. We revealed how we’re building a better TV ad experience with OneView.

Roku’s Kristina Shepard and Julian Mintz excited the crowd with new additions to OneView, Roku’s ad buying platform built for TV streaming. They introduced Dynamic Linear Ads and new shoppable experiences that will elevate the streaming and advertising experience on Roku.

5. We announced Roku’s latest partnership with Microsoft.

Dan Robbins, VP of Ad Marketing and Partner Solutions, announced an industry-first collaboration with Microsoft. This impactful partnership will enable advertisers to better understand how to deliver better experiences across TV and search:
