This past weekend, we brought our iconic Roku City screensaver to life during a two-day activation at SXSW. Streamers and advertisers had the chance to step into our screensaver and experience the wonders of Roku City, reimagined as an immersive, in-person experience.
In partnership with Best Buy, visitors of Roku City picked out new looks at the Roku City Style shop, kicked back at the Best Buy Home Theater Experience, strolled under the trees of the Roku City Park, and dined on dishes referencing iconic films and shows, like “The Need for Cheese,” (Grilled Cheese) and “May the Fries Be with You” at the Roku City Rooftop Diner.
